neverending cable spaghetti

I got the Sony dvp-ns92v today, and all seems fine. Peter Gabriel’s “Up” as a SACD version is the first musical work that I’ve heard that has been designed for 6 audio channels – intriguing! But all these connections; who shall relieve us from this spaghetti?!

  1. I’m considering to obtain a Sony DVP NS 92 SACD-enabled player to enjoy the growing number of my classical hybrid sacd records. Do I need a special new amplifier (In this case I’d be forced to cancel my purchase plan) or will it work with my oldfashioned but good Sony TA-S2 amplifier?
