Dice music

Video clip for this Friday afternoon; what you can do with some domino pieces, lots of colourful dice, nice music and some stop-motion work?

  1. FYI :
This clip is not really done with actual domino pieces or dice or stop-motion techniques, although it may look that way.

    It’s all digital.
All video footage has gone through a colored ‘dice’ filter with adjustable resolution.

Fantastic work though, thanks for the tip.
Made me think of “The White Stripes – Fell In Love With A Girl” video clip :

which has been done with ACTUAL lego pieces. It took 15 animators and 6 weeks of week.

    keep ’em coming

  2. Ok, thanks for pointing this out — I had a slight suspicion that this might be all digital, but on the other hand — in these times of omnipresent digital tools — doing things manually has certain added value. And thanks for the White Stripes clip; I had watched it at some point but forgot who was performing the song. Legos rule!
